I visited the Excite Center at Parx Casino on a week night to see a Boz Scaggs concert. It was my first trip there and I was impressed. Easy venue to get to, very helpful employees at the front door and throughout. The Center itself is wonderful. The seats are fixed (not fold. Details: Saw an acoustic concert (Lyle Lovett and Shawn Colvin). We knew it was in the Parx complex somewhere but there were no signs mentioning Xcite Center as of March '18, and Apple Maps did its usual poor job in large parking lots. (Tip: Xcite Center is in the main casino. Walk in and the venue is towards the back left.).
Parx Casino®, Pennsylvania’s #1 casino, has announced today the grand opening of the brand new live entertainment venue, Xcite Center. The opening event for this intimate 1,500 seat venue will feature world renowned music group and the 2016 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Chicago®.A second featured launch concert will be headlined by the most award-winning country music group in the past decade, Rascal Flatts.
Xcite Center’s debut is set to shine on Saturday, January 13, 2018 and will feature the legendary two-time GRAMMY Award® winning rock band, Chicago®. Out of 36 career albums, an incredible 25 have been certified platinum and the band has a total of 47 gold and platinum awards altogether. As the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades, they are considered one of the world’s best-selling groups of all time.
Following the opening, Xcite Center will also host a featured launch concert on Saturday, March 3, 2018 with Rascal Flatts – the most awarded country vocal group of the past decade. Rascal Flatts has achieved numerous milestones in the past 10 years, including winning six consecutive CMA Awards for Vocal Group of the Year, induction into the Grand Ole Opry in 2011 and 16 number one hits.

In addition to the Xcite Center, the $50 million expansion to Parx Casino® will add 45,000 square feet of space totaling the property footprint to 375,000 square feet. As part of the property development, Parx Casino® will welcome Lombardi’s Pizzeria from New York City, The Liberty Bell Gastropub and a brand new exclusive poker room to the main casino building.

If you live in the suburbs, you’ll be happy to know that Parx Casino in Bensalem opened their highly anticipated Xcite Center on Saturday night, to a packed house of Chicago fans.
The Grammy award-winning band performed many of their hits to the enthusiastic crowd, including “You’re the Inspiration,” “Hard to Say I’m Sorry,” “Hard Habit to Break” and more.
The band helped cut the ribbon to the new space at 6:45 p.m., prior to the start of their 8 p.m. show.
